🔔Official launch of the hashtag#METASTEALTH project
On January 13 and 14, the kick-off meeting of METASTEALTH project took place in Palaiseau. The project is funded under the European Defence Fund (EDF) and coordinated by hashtag#ONERA.

🗓️Duration : 36 months
🌍 Consortium : 7 partners from 6 European Countries (France, Germany, Cyprus, Lithuania, Greece and Spain)
💶 EU contribution: €4 million
🎯 Objective: to develop digital metasurfaces for stealth applications.

This collaborative effort aims to advance research and development in digital metasurfaces and to contribute to enhanced capabilities for naval, aerial, and terrestrial defence platforms.

🎉 As ONERA celebrates its 80th anniversary, it continues to drive innovation in support of European defense, with projects like METASTEALTH pushing the limits of stealth technology.

During the 4th EDF call (2021–2027), 5 out of 8 projects submitted in November 2023 were selected by the European Commission, including two coordinated by ONERA: hashtag#GARUDA and hashtag#METASTEALTH.
